If baseball and football isn't your sport how about basketball. With the defensive player of the year, the third highest scoring player in the NBA history, and the second leading scorer in this past season, the Denver Nuggets have it all. Come visit the Pepsi Center to see all the action.
All three of these stadiums are in close proximity to each other, walking distance in fact. They are also close to the Sixteenth Street Mall which also has some of the best shopping in Colorado.
If you are not a big fan of the outdoors or sports there are other attractions.
Do you like roller coasters and water rides? Go to Six Flags Elitch Gardens in downtown Denver to enjoy the best of both worlds. With its own theme park and water park, Elitch Gardens can give you thrills for hours. A kids park is also inside the park for those who have kids. This park is also right in the center of Denver, about a 100 yard walk from the park to the Pepsi Center.
If it is the summer and you are hot you may want to consider a water park. Luckily, Denver has a water park too. About 15 minutes outside of Denver in Westminster, the number one family water park in the nation is located. Waterworld is a must visit place for all of you who love water rides. This is also a family water park which will allow you to bring the entire family.
